Ingredients
1/2 Cup butter
1 Cup onion, chopped
4 Garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/2 Cup flour
2 (12 oz) Cans evaporated milk
2 (14 1/2 oz) Cans chicken broth
1 Pound ground pork sausage, cooked & drained
2 (15 1/2 oz) Cans undrained cannellini beans
Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
Melt butter in medium saucepan, add onion and garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes while stirring occasionally or until onion is tender.
Stir in flour.
Slowly add the evaporated milk and chicken broth while stirring constantly.
Once the mixture comes to a complete boil, add sausage and beans.
Heat through, and season with salt & pepper to taste.
