Ingredients
3 1/2 Cups water
1/2 Cup elbow spaghetti OR small ditalini pasta
1/2 Cup celery, chopped
9 Ounces frozen baby lima beans OR butter beans, drained
1 (15 oz) Can waxed beans, drained
1 (1.15 oz) Packet beefy onion dry soup mix
1/2 Teaspoon basil leaves
1 (16 oz) Can pork & beans, undrained
1 (16 oz) Can diced tomatoes, undrained
Instructions
Bring water to a boil in large saucepan or Dutch oven. Stir in pasta, celery, lima beans, soup mix and basil. Return to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 7 to 10 minutes or until pasta is of desired doneness. Stir in pork and beans and tomatoes; cook until thoroughly heated. Garnish with shredded cheese, if desired.
