Ingredients
1 (10 oz) Package frozen lima beans
3 (20 oz) Cans baked beans
3 (15 1/2 oz) Cans kidney beans
1 Pound Italian sausage
1/2 Pound cooked ham, cubed
1 Medium onion, chopped, saut�ed
1 (8 oz) Can tomato sauce
1/2 Cup catsup
1/4 Cup brown sugar, packed
1 Tablespoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon pepper
1 Garlic clove, minced
1/2 Teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 Cup red wine, optional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400�F.
Cook lima beans as directed on package and drain. Pour into 4 1/2 quart bean pot or casserole dish. Add baked beans, kidney beans, and remaining ingredients listed above.
In covered skillet, simmer sausages until browned on all sides. DO NOT PRICK SAUSAGES.
Cut each sausage into 3 to 4 pieces. Add sausage pieces and ham to beans and mix gently.
Bake for 1 hour, uncovered.
