Ingredients
1 Picnic ham
Potatoes, quartered
Baby carrots
Small onions
1 Head cabbage cut in wedges
Butter
Salt & pepper to taste
Garlic powder
Your favorite mustard
Instructions
Put ham in large stockpot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until a large fork easily pierces the meat. Remove ham from water and set aside, keeping warm. Add vegetables and cook until tender adding cabbage last as it will cook the quickest. Slice ham and put on platter. Remove vegetables from water and season with lots of butter, salt & pepper to taste and garlic powder. Serve with ham and a side of mustard.
