Ingredients
1 Large potato, peeled & shredded
OR
1 1/2 Cups hash brown potatoes, fried & cooled
1 Cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1 Cup fresh mushrooms, chopped
2 Pounds lean ground beef
2 (1 oz) Packages dry onion soup mix
Instructions
Preheat grill for high heat.
In a medium bowl, mix together potato, cheese, and mushrooms.
In a large bowl, mix ground beef with onion soup mix. Form into 12 thin patties. Place a scoop of potato mixture on 6 patties. Place another patty on top and seal edges well.
When ready to grill, brush grate with oil; cook burgers over high heat for 5 minutes on each side, or until well done. Serve hot.
